Land Girl

Left behind like all the other women during WWII, Ruth has little options left to her but to take up arms and joins the American Women’s Land Army. She works the land like the men used to just to get by until her father and brother return from the war.

When war prisoners are shipped into her small town in nowhere Utah, she has no desire to meet the men, let alone work with them. But soon the POWs show up at the sugar beet farm where she and the other Land Girls work.

That’s how Ruth finds herself standing side by side with the handsome German soldier, Otto Wolff.

Work with the war prisoners becomes more difficult day after day as the lines between enemies and allies blur, but despite her best efforts, Ruth begins to fall in love with the enemy.
